Autum and the törggele time

In South Tyrol, farmers once celebrated the pressing of the grapes in their own rooms by tasting young wine, grape must (Suser) and chestnuts. Today, as then, the tradition with local wine and South Tyrolean chestnuts is continued in the peasant inns, enriched with other typical autumnal delicacies (Link Torggele Original + Photo Torggele).
